The subject of Sunny's hair has come into question more than once. This weekend in Chicago the Fairy Godmother's couldn't help but take turns twirling it and commenting on how some of it is straight and the rest of it seems curly. There are some "fly aways" too, but I digress. Do you see it??? I discovered a little curl on the top of her head. What do you guys think?

We need a new family room rug. It's a high traffic area and my little blue rug just isn't doing it anymore. I'm between these….      I refinish odds and ends and work as much as I can with what I've got, but I can not weave a rug. Although I'd love to learn how to reupholster a chair…I'd also love to run a half marathon, since we're discussing impossible things.

I think Sunny is going to be a chef one day. She loves to help me cook dinner. She cries if I walk into the kitchen without her, and loves to "stir" her pot of peas.

Tomorrow Sunny and I leave for the windy city. It's hard to put into words what my friends from home mean to me. I can only pray that Matt and I create a home that Sunny is excited to return to with friends that she loves and places that she must eat, sit, and gather at.
