Creating fine art portraits of my newborns has become a form of artistic expression for me. It started out as a way to blend the backgrounds behind the infants portraits, but it has become so much more.
This is Madeleine. I was lucky enough to meet her mommy Vanessa, in grade school, and somehow we ended up in New York City together. It was a pleasure to meet Vanessa’s family, and photograph them in their gorgeous NYC apartment. I can’t wait to watch these little beauties grow up to be as smart and beautiful as their mother. ( Dad’s pretty great too 🙂

I often travel to the homes of my clients to photograph their newborns and families. It’s important to me that we show the growth of a family over the years. These moments are precious and fleeting- so making our way around a home and making sure Mom and Dad get in the picture is a priority.
Another great benefit of at home sessions is getting to photograph the grandparents who are often there to help in those first weeks of sleepless nights and transition.
