Hilton Head Family Vacation
Welcome to part 2 of our Hilton Head Family Vacation! We headed to Beaufort, South Carolina because I had read in Southern Living Magazine that it was named the small town in the South. While I thought Beaufort was lovely, I’d give that distinct title and crown to Old Town Bluffton, which was decidedly more quaint. There is something beautiful about a town that leans in to its unique style. When it’s untouched, and unharmed by new architecture and new trends, and newness- it is perfectly imperfect. If you throw ice cream, sailboats, and a park into the mix, you will win my kids hearts. Sugar and charm, a wining combination in the Willoughby household!
I love color. This is no secret. Those of you that have shot with me know that my personal photography style is deep, rich, colors. So much color! What I love about these images is that there was color all around us. These images are all natural light ( even though a flash would have helped out a whole bunch!!!) with light streaming in from every angle.
Old Town Bluffton has a weekly farmer’s market on Thursday afternoons, that is not to be missed. I ate my weight in crab cakes and popcorn.
Dancing with Daddy
My little Lady loves to dance! Leighton has some special needs, which makes since if you ever meet her because the child is truly special. I love her sweet spirit. Whatever she is made of, it calls her to dance under stars and with her Dada daily. We stumbled upon this awesome band so my girls could twirl and show off their dance moves.
These next few photos make me smile from ear to ear! Who else but our family cheers for a 20 month old to drop it like it’s hot?
Love these light soaked images of my kiddos on their Hilton Head Family Vacation.
