Meet Madison
Every so often I get a dream baby here in my NJ newborn photography studio. A baby who sleeps through her whole session, waking only once to show off her pretty eyes. I was lucky to have Madison in studio and in a deep sleep, because we were able to get all of her poses completed with minimal waking and almost no feedings. Madison’s laid back demeanor and sweet sleepy smiles could melt any heart. Her Mom and Dad were just as cool and kind as their baby girl, watching me work and admiring their newest addition as she rocked her newborn session. I’m looking forward to meeting Madison again as she grows from a newborn to a toddler. This year will be full of first for her family, and I know her parents will be cheering her on all the way.
We started with Madison in a basket on my dark wood backdrop. I typically start my newborn sessions with props so that baby has a chance to relax into each pose. In my NJ newborn photography studio there are a ton of props and outfits and wraps to choose from. Madison’s session was decidedly natural. Her skin was so creamy and pink that the peach backdrop worked best for her beanbag shots. I tend to appreciate the less fussy newborn images, so adding a flower crown or headband can jazz up the images just enough to give the images some personality.
