This week is already showing signs of greatness.

First things first Andrea & Michael had a beautiful, perfect, and healthy little…..

BOY!!!!!!

Please welcome Jack Michael to our  blog family….well lets welcome him to their family-  but I’m like family, or at least I worry about him like I’m family- same difference lets not split hairs.  The point is that he’s here, he’s awesome, and he’s home resting with his Mommy and Daddy. I can’t wait to get my hands on that sweet baby boy.

In fact after the day I had with Sunshine I’m really hoping that I can convince my over tired friends to make an even exchange, a boy for a girl! This is such a good idea! Just look at the deal they’ll be getting- Sunshine can count, talk, sass, and throw tantrums like it’s her job. She’s a real joy!

After climbing the stairs for the 3rd time today I picked her up by her shoulders, lost my temper, and threw her in her crib shouting TIME OUT. The exchange left me so rattled and upset that I called my friend Nora ( mother of two boys) to vent/cry/confess that I yelled at my child. According to Nora, it’s okay to yell if it’s about something that could potentially jeopardize her safety. That made me feel better… well, that advice and my best friend Mr. Wine ( who made a surprise visit at 4:00pm today- oh hello Mr. Wine, sure come on in, I’ve been waiting for you 🙂

Anywho…Matt got one of “those” phone calls, you know the one, where I wave the white flag and say things like “come get your child.” He did- and currently they are visiting the diaper store and touring a part of Brooklyn where I don’t reside. I have to say I don’t know how people end up with two of these little people. I mean 1 child is kicking my tush! I love her with my whole heart- lets not forget I’m the person that MISSES her daughter while she’s sleeping. Yes you read that right, I seriously miss her when she is asleep- how sick is that? And yet I think seriously, people have two…or three…or four… or  twenty? HOW?!?!? This is why women get pregnant before their child turns two. I’m on to you Mama’s of the world- I hear you loud and clear.

It’s only Monday people, only Monday. And yes, if you’ve been following the above photos- she ate the Popsicle off of the ground…with dirt on it…I choose my battles.
