This morning Sunny picked out her own clothes. I have picked out everything she has ever worn, with some assistance and advice from Chris and JC , because she is after all only 12 months old. In any case this morning when we went to her closet SHE picked out her outfit. I grabbed something else and she said MAMA! and shook her head no. This can’t be happening already I thought. Below are the pictures of the outfit she picked out…
My friend Andrea will love this. She loves girly girls; she loves little girls in tutu’s and sparkly shoes. She’ll love that Sunny picked out her own outfit and enjoyed a cup of tea with her English tea pot this morning. She might even love the fact that Sunny has started to assert her will already, screaming MAMA at the top of her lungs and dragging me from one end of this house to the other.
How blessed am I that my daughter has found her voice and asserts her will. While she might look just like her Da-Da she is for sure my baby 🙂
My heart is warmed this week with the story of Ted Williams, the homeless gentleman who has found new life and career in broadcast. We often hear that God works in mysterious ways, we also know to have faith in the unknown, but how often do we witness a miracle like this? I’m proud of him, proud of the people who have helped him, and proud of his recovery. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend, full of little miracles.
PS. We played the mega millions this week and we didn’t win, but I have faith that one day we will win- does faith work like that?
