Thank you to all of you who viewed Jude’s 1st Year video and left such sweet, sweet comments. How kind of you all to be here with us as our story unfolds. I imagine our life is looking a whole bunch like many of yours, and so you’ll appreciate the fact that this morning as I type this my “cabin fever” kids are crawling in, out, across, and between my legs begging for various foods, tv, and activities. The little one stinks to high heaven, and the big one is annoyed that the little one stinks. Le sigh.
We have been in the deep freeze like so many of you. Thankfully Matt loves snow activities and so my little people have been able to go out and play.
Good news, Sunny loves winter! Bad news, Saint HATES winter!
We did about 6 runs and then ran to the car. There was a lot of talk of “hands burning”. Another family memory that didn’t go at all like I planned in my head; add sledding to the growing list.
You know what is great though? Buckets on a little boys head.
And Shake Shack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They opened one in Jersey and that nearly brought a tear to my eye. For those of you not familiar, it is the closest thing to Portillo’s here on the East Coast.
Some of you just had a light bulb moment.
Saint really just goes for the ketchup. Are you wondering how low my personal standards are for keeping my son clean and or healthy? It’s cool, I wonder how that sliding scale has come so low daily.
We’re off to a play date and maybe some more Shake Shack, happy snow day!
