So, now when Sunny taste food she says…Um Hummmmmm!
When she trys to fit her sippy cup in areas where it clearly doesn't fit she says… OH, AAAAAAA!
When she sees a picture of her father she says… Hi Da-Da.
And when he left for work this morning she said Bye-Bye Da-Da.
But for the past two weeks Sunny has said virtually nothing. I'm not sure why, she knows her words but she choose to point, clap, blow kiss and play peek-a-boo, but not talk. I'm happy to report that her words are back.
Right, I know for that last paragraph you were holding your breath, it's okay, she's fine.
I was a bit worried that there was some regression. I looked it up on line and many sources said that at 10 months she couldn't possibly know her Mama from her Da-Da. Well dipsticks you've never met my kid. She's really smart, and that's not bragging, she has good genes( as my mother will tell you) plus I repeat myself 190937465930 times a day. If she didn't say a word I would jump off the brooklyn bridge!
MAMA I'M BACK! La la la la laaaaaaaa, what do you want me to say? I was growing teeth, but now I'm back and I have sooooo much to say!
In other news you know my new neighbor who does infant potty training? Well her daughter Noelle says Pee-Pee and Poo!!! You guys when she says it, she has to go! This kid can go in the potty!
Now her mother tells me she still wears a diaper all day and at night, but when she wakes up from her nap she goes on her potty! She GOES you guys, she uses the potty. I'm like so impressed. Samara is totally Mommy of the year! She tells me it's not to late that Sunny can learn to use the potty, but that would mean in addition to my million repeated words a day I would have to put her on the potty! That's soooooo not happening but I like that she believes I am capable.
