Umm…what do you do when your one year old kisses every single boy she meets?
Tuesday at Books and Babies, Sunny grabbed a little boy named Alexander, and kissed him on the lips. The little guy danced and ran all over the library falling over and coming back for more “beso” as his mother put it. When the kissing bandit (Sunny) finished her assault on Alexander his mother asked politely, “Will you be back next week?” She probably was hoping I would say “No, I’ll be taking fast Sally over here back to the ranch.”
Yesterday I joined Jill at Kickboxing which means that Sunny stayed in the little daycare. Jill reported that when she saw Sunny she was in daycare and a little boy came up and “kissed her.” I didn’t have time to explain to Jill that perhaps its the little boy who needs protecting from my over aggressive daughter.
We have been working on kisses. For a very long time Sunny was not very affectionate at all. I expressed my sadness over this fact to anyone who would listen and then Jill came up with this great idea to do “hugs and snugs.” So I tried it, and now I have given birth to the Kissing Bandit. She will kiss anyone. anytime open mouthed. It’s certainly the cutest thing in the world and I don’t want to stop her because then she might think kissing is “bad.” So for now Fast Sally is on the loose. If you’re a friend of mine and we spend time together please forgive Sunny’s kissing ways, she just can’t help herself…she’s a woman with love in her heart and kissing on her brain.
PS. Alexander is super cute with his little page boy hair cut and overalls on…I’m just sayin’!
And in case you missed it yesterday I posted a little video of Sunny on her first birthday. Enjoy!
