I received some nasty emails regarding the fact that I haven’t posted all week. So sorry guys- I had no idea that people would get so angry with me. I’ve been busy- and please know that in this house that’s a good thing. Matt likes when I can pay bills too-this marriage thing is so complicated.
So for my birthday we went to the zoo. Oh wait- you thought I was kidding? No we literally go every single year. You know what I’m doing when I turn 32? Going to the zoo. See, it’s annual.
Doesn’t my daughter look so excited to see the animals? I mean- she just LOVES being made to entertain her parents with smiles and photos!
Okay- these are my favorite pics of the day….
And then…when she had had enough…
MAMA!!! That’s our baby!
We made a split second decision to treat Sunny to a Hibachi dinner- yum! Not gonna lye there are only like two photos because I literally couldn’t breathe. Let’s clear something up- sushi is my daughters favorite food. We say to her, Gracie we’re going for sushi tonight and she’s like, YESH!!!!!!! ( because she pronounces Yes as Yesh!!!!!!!!!!!!) Then we took her into the hibachi restaurant, sat at the grill, and fire came shooting out and she was like- Mama! Let’s go! She’s never been more silent in her entire life. She loved/hated it. I loved/hated it.
Putting a 21 month old anywhere near fire and trying to form a sentence is similar to putting her in a shark cage with blood and trying to smile- in my mind that’s 100% the same. (My friend Andrea is shaking her head up and down- like yep! Same thing! She is who I call when I’m like, I heard that there are sharks in NC should I let Gracen into the ocean? Then she’s like- not at dusk, that’s their feeding time!)
On Sunday I received my gift. We went to the suburbs and looked at homes. Does anyone else notice how the sun glows and sparkles in New Jersey? No…just me? Then we came home to Brooklyn ( dramatic pause here as I try not to use any bad words to describe my current home) and my brother, JC, and Ashley came over with a cake. ***NOTE: They are moving to New Jersey on Saturday, as in tomorrow…DRAMATIC PAUSE!!! We’ll discuss this later.
Please note I have on no makeup and since when was it 80 degrees in September??????? Global warming is real people. It’s real.
Then last night I had my family birthday party with my other family in Queens. Remember last weeks Birfday post? I told you! See it’s annual.
We’re off to the pumpkin patch. Hope everyone is having a beautiful Friday. And thanks for the birthday love…
