Matt was on the news for being an American Hero, only that's not the story they choose to tell. Whatever, bad news sells.
So here's the deal. Yesterday when Matt got to work he got an email telling him to come down to the Auditorium for a special surprise. When he got down there the Chancellor was there with the press to give Matt and a few of their colleagues were told that they have some of the best High Schools in the city and that they work together well and that they are "American Heroes."
But then we found the link on the news and they sort of make it seem like NY public schools are not doing well, and while that may be true, Matt's school is doing great! We don't care what they say Matthew is our American Hero and I'm very glad that all of those weekends and late weeknights and personal sacrifices he makes don't go unnoticed.

I can't wait till Matt is Chancelor I'm totally gonna hold press conferances and give out awards and add a dance hour to every school day 🙂
