A dear friend of mine received news this weekend that her uncle passed away. Her uncle leaves behind  a wife and children, a busy life and big family.  I know that their pain is great and hearts are heavy. We're praying for her family, and reminding ourselves what a magnificent gift life is.    

It's a beautiful fall day. The kind of day where I would like to be outside, with Da-Da and Sunny, however I am sick, Sunny is recovering, and Da-Da has to work. Boo, hiss! Has anyone seen this McDonald's commercial. Everytime I see it I smile, and tear up. There is just something about a newborn that makes my heart melt.   I  remember when Sunny was born and my Dad came in town. Somewhere between no sleep and being obsessed with my new baby, he brought us Mc Donalds for lunch. I have never forgotten that moment, and doubt I ever will.
